Following a late postponement we have re-scheduled tonight's match and will now face off against a very strong ČAFC 'B' side on their home turf in Prague 10.
Head Coach Jon Davies had this to say: "Wednesday’s game against ČAFC provides us with many important opportunities.
It is a valuable opportunity to rotate the squad and to see what other players can do. Places for the season are still very much up for grabs and it is a chance for players to stake their claim for a starting spot.
With the huge fixture against Slavia Prague on the horizon, it is also a chance for players to hold their hands up for inclusion in that squad. Those opportunities don’t come around too often and I’m sure that will provide ample motivation for the players.
We were unlucky in the last fixture against Tooting Bec and on another day we could have won the game, however as well as allowing us to take a first close-up look at a Czech team, this fixture also provides us with a chance to grab our first win.
I have no doubt that once that first win arrives, our confidence will grow and momentum will build.
Hopefully that win arrives on Wednesday!"
