How has the preseason training been, and what are the main areas you focused on?
The preseason started a bit slow with many players still on holidays, but we're picking up steam. We've been focusing on team chemistry and fine-tuning our strategies. The main emphasis has been on being more clinical in front of the goal to convert more chances.
Are there any changes in the team's tactical approach this season?
No major tactical changes, just some adjustments to improve on last season. We're focusing the details that can make a difference, especially in our finishing and defensive organisation.
What are the key areas of improvement you've identified from last season?
Staying healthy and having all players available is crucial. We also need to be more ruthless in front of the goal. Last season, we missed key opportunities that could've changed our standings.
What are your primary goals for the team this season?
Our main goal is to aim for the championship and secure promotion to the first league. If we stay healthy and consistent, and manage to keep all our players we believe we have the squad to do it.
How do you assess the competition in the league this year?
It's going to be a tough season. Teams like Banik Ostrava are coming down from the first league, and we have new opponents like Zlin, whom we haven't faced before. We're expecting a competitive league, but we feel prepared to challenge any team.
What lessons have you learned from past seasons that will influence your approach this year?
We've learned that being a foreign team in the league comes with its challenges, especially with how we're received outside Prague. But these experiences have toughened our players mentally. We're more resilient and ready to face less comfortable situations head-on.
