Ladies have to wait for the first win, men take all three points! | Match reviews

Updated: Sep 9, 2018

Both our teams played at home this week. The Ladies first match in league ever had a sad ending for the Raptors team as their opponent, TJ Baník Švermov, scored in the 51st minute. The Ladies battled hard and played some good football, with many periods of strong possession, just without finding a way to goal. Harriet Marshall was the stand-out player for the Raptors - pushing herself throughout the game and driving forward when possible from her unfamiliar position at left-back.

However, the Raptors men scored six times and demolished Spartak Kbely B 6:0. Mattia Chiodi grabbed 4 goals whilst striker Alex Aionitoaei continued his record of a goal in every game. Muhaab Yassien scored the other Raptors goal, a striker from just outside the box. The Raptors were in control for the vast majority of the game but keeper Arij Oosterling did well with the efforts the visitors did create.
