This Saturday we face off in our first ever match as English side Tooting Bec FC travel to Prague for an end of season tour.
Our opponents have had a great year, winning promotion from the Surrey Elite Intermediate Football League and going up as champions.
We have nearly a full squad to choose from, with the main injury concerns in the left-back position as both Max Gardie and Dean da Lança are a couple of weeks away from returning to the squad.
Head Coach, Jon Davies commented after Wednesday's training session:
"We are really looking forward to starting our pre-season proper and testing ourselves against Tooting this Saturday.
The boys have been working hard in training and we are itching to put what we’ve been working on into practice on the pitch. Performing during training is one thing but to produce when it counts is quite another.
This is the first step in realising our ambitions and just the beginning of an exciting journey.
Our opposition are a perfect example of where we want to be. Winning promotion and climbing the Czech football pyramid is our main aim on the pitch and that starts this Saturday."
