The undefeated Raptors Women's team need just 1 point this weekend to win the Divize A (Czech 4th tier). Victory would see us guaranteed a spot in the end of season play-off against České Budějovice - a team we beat in the cup earlier in the season but who also have formidable league form - having won every game and scoring an incredible 127 goals so far this season. The 2 legs of the playoffs will take place in the first couple of weeks of June - Winning those matches would see us enter the 3rd division next season.
After a poor end to the first half the season the Men's A team have come out fighting and managed to win all games in this calendar year so far. With 4 clean sheets in a row we are one of the in-form teams in the league but also know we have crucial games coming up towards the end of the season, with the rest of the top 4 due to visit us in May & June. The top 2 will be guaranteed promotion to the 6th tier and it is looking to be a very close race - consistency and steering clear of injuries will be crucial.
The Men's B team have a game in hand over the rest of the top 4 and have already played top of the table Dukla 'C' twice meaning we are in a strong position to claim the 2nd promotion spot - with 4 of our next 5 games against teams in the bottom half of the table. That said we know the 'Jungle' league can throw up plenty of surprises so whilst we will be pushing to finish as strong as possible and guarantee promotion to the 8th tier we will also need to be ready to battle in every game to get there.
